I also where my slash panels under my T shirt as to many carry kitchen knives and I have to take blood thinners.Main reason we are armed in the city or in the woods described in this article

I’ve spent a LOT of time in the sticks alone over the decades, mostly bow hunting. Never worried too much, BUT I watched what I was doing, and always had some basic survival gear with me-enough so that if I was forced to spen a night (or 2) in the field I could have easily done so. That said, you need to let someone know Where you’ll be AND you need to pay a lot of attention to your surroundings-ALL the time

Never going alone… Many times that is the sole reason to get out in the woods. Arming yourself is acknowledging that there is some risk involved, that risk is sorta the point of alone.
Maybe…maybe not…go fly fishing and see what you catch. Dailey Dukes don’t count…although,maybe they do, on second thought!She mighta got fat by now.
