Do you live in an area with a lot of historical sites?

Historical sites here in the southwest, the west for that matter, are different than back east. Battle sites in the East are well defined vs in the West, a battle could stretch for miles.

Picacho, Western most civil war battle site.

San Xavier del back, Catholic mission built prior to 1775. Still open and operational today.

Tombstone,

Ft Bowie, site of last Apache attack on a stagecoach.

Native American history of all sorts.

Too much to list...

There are defined Battlefields in my western state and adjacent ones.

Huh? This is an historic place or event? Maybe it's too early, but I be seriously confused 🤔
Event. If I had to live near a historic site with lots of sight seers, like Gettysburg, Colonial Williamsburg, etc. all the time, I'd be chewing the molding off the door frame. As a rule, I can drive to town, there is only a post office there so not much reason to, and back home without seeing another soul. One weekend a year you can't get anywhere without hitting a line of traffic a mile or more long.
