Lasers should not be a crutch for lack of marksmanship skills. I always insisted that novice students leave the laser off and learn to hit with iron sights, you can use the laser after you master the iron sights.

Now using the IR laser when wearing NOD'S, that is a game changer for night ops

If it's even sunny a little bit that laser is useless anyway. The only time I have ever used mine is when I zero'ed it. I'm not even sold on Red dots for pistols much less lasers. Give me a good set of Tru Glos or Trijicons and I'm happy.
