Do you remember when...

Master Class
Do you remember a time when the Bank of Boulder ran advertisements offering a Weatherby Mark V rifle instead of paid interest when you opened a CD? You gave the bank say $2000.00 for 5 years and they ship you the rifle, payment up front. At the end of 5 years, you got the original $2000.00 back. Those were the days.

I remember (my area) when the country wasn't gun crazy. You had them or you didn't but more importantly you let people be themselves. Post Reagan attempt the changes have gone from a shift to a continuing full slide. I remember turkey shoots, targets at the fair, open to the public days at the gun club and a community full of hunters. Sadly, there's a chance a bank could run the risk of failing if they gave away a gun in today's world.

I got a Weatherby shotgun through that program
When I opened my first savings account all I got was a bank like this. And it was empty!
