I don't know, but at least you're not subject to only corded charging. A v6 seams to be too big. We've had 4 cylinder generators that produce 35-50kw. Not sure how much their generator puts out?

Going to need the specs, payload, towing capacity, range while towing would be nice.

Fords doing that new hybrid powerboost. Hopefully plenty of people will buy these types of vehicles and get the first generation kinks all sorted and I will wait until they fix all the issues that generally come with first generation engines before I get interested lol.

this show has had several make overs...i watched this episode, when it first came out..an under hood truck generator...now if one is already being made smaller, then this could solve the finding a charging station on the road, a thing of the past...

One should talk to their friendly fireman before buy any battery powered vehicle. There is technology coming online to help extinguish a battery fire. The vehicle is still a write off.

There is an argument to be made for a hybrid if you're west of the Mississippi. Not so much in the east where everything is closer.

Esp. in the rural West, and especially in the Rockies or other high altitude areas that have really cold winters. A hybrid makes a lot more sense.

The only issue to contend with now is the fact that it's still a dodge so it's subject to premature rotting and constantly breaking down.

Of course it won't, it still requires fossil fuel to operate and produce power! And more than a hybrid since it requires the truck engine to be running.
