Never saw the results, but in late 69-early 70, I saw it used in the distance. Have a slide of it somewhere…just a red line snaking across the sky. Saw the Green Berets in 1969, after coming in from Operation Pipestone Canyon, in S. I Corps. For some reason, being Marines we thought of it as being ‘hokey’. But in retrospect, well over 50 years later, I like it…even if hokey!
