Water tends to exaggerate expansion. Wet phone books and gel tend to be more realistic in my opinion.

Oh I didn't realize XD had a 10. 2 of my 4 handguns are XDs. NM not legal here in commiefornia sigh

Yeah it kinda bites been behind the iron curtain like that. My XDm is the 5.25” version. I also have the M&P M2.0 and RIA 1911A1 in 10MM. Too bad I can’t come out there and let you shoot them.

Caliber choices come and go. I wonder how long the budget for 10mm will continue to be passed? All it takes is one fiscal year …
I remember when our local sheriff dropped the 40 and switched to the 9mm. Glock had been sweet-talking them for sometime.
Out with the Sig, in with the Glock. Most officers dumped their 40 caliber Sigs too.
Glocks were way cheaper….way cheaper. Allowed the sheriff to spend his budget on other things instead of ammunition.

I don’t know of any agency still issuing a 10mm. There are a couple deputies at an adjoining counties carrying approved Gkick 20’s. When I was in Montana 30 some years ago both Billings PD and Yellowstone County and a couple other’s issues Glock Model 20 not sure about now
10-8 performance had a great video on the 10mm and why the FBI dropped it before YouTube got stupid on guns.
Ain’t nobody here immortal enough to run a 5,000 round course with a 40 oz big steel da gun and full power 10mm ammo so it wasn’t a weak agent thing. As Hilton Yam said in his 10-8 video and I totally agree. There are far better choices for general issue duty use.

I like .40 S&W and 10mm. I have been through a few. The first 10mm I had was a Glock 40 which was OK but I went to a SIG 220 and now I have a Springfield MDM Elite. In .40 I have had a couple of HK USP Stainless Pistols (I gave one to my Son) and an XD and an XDM. I have got to say as I get older I tend to go for the ,40's more often, but if the SHTF I'd grab the XDM E 10mm.
