Well, that was fast. Ordered online Thursday evening, Friday said they needed FFL license (looks like itbgad expired). Emailed FFL who emailed me back in less than 30 minutes he’d sent it. Shipped that evening and I picked it up today. All told, bit over 4 days with full weekend included.
Brought it home and immediately used AOS coupon to order plate. Going with AIMPOINT 2 with 3.5 MOA red dot for this one, also in OD Green. Since I have no intention of EDCing this, decided to try something different. Optic was labeled today, so thinking I’ll get it sometime this week. 3 day FedEx on plate, so might miss this week.
After all that cleaned all the shipping crap off. Was practically dripping off magazine that was in mag well upon delivery. Here’s a shot of all the crap I cleaned off. Two crappy magazines put away with box. I have plenty of 8 round Wilson Vicker’s Duty magazines.
And here’s a shot of my range ready Operator that ideally will be put through its’ paces tomorrow (without the crappy magazine in picture). If not tomorrow, then Thursday. Range report to follow.
Just have to decide on a suppressor. Leaning towards HUXWRX FLOW 45 M or SILENCERCO OSPREY 45 2.0. Latter currently out of stock at Silencer Shop, which I use since they do all paperwork and no transfer fee since LGS has kiosk. I’m still looking around though. Maybe I’ll find one in OD Green.
