eagles nest damaged by arsonists fire

I was in the 4th grade and was in Germany for the duration of Dad's assignment. We went in a field trip to a WWII museum, which is a political way of saying Nazi or Holocaust museum. Very memorable for me as my memory is still quite vivid of the lampshade.

The lamp sat on the desk of some sick batturd and was made of the skin of a Jewish prisoner of the "glorious" third reich. The lamp has since been hidden away and discredited to many idiots that believe everything read on the net.

We must never forget the history lest it be repeated. The lampshade, the eradicating of a group of people, all of it, must not be forgotten.

exactly.

the people that survived it will never forget it.

new generations need to know.

Stationed in Germany in the late 70s. Went to the Eagles Nest and ate there and it was a good experience as I'm sure all people who went there. As a tourist attraction for all races and creeds it probably showed more disgust to the Nazi philosophy than burning it down.
