The RXM complete slide arrived & after rites were exchanged was legally married to the PSA Dagger lower.

No visit to Vegas was required.

Nice work! Threaded barrel, undercut trigger guard, front and rear slide serrations, pic rail, all the comforts of home. Is that a Talon grip kit? 4" barrel? Color combo looks great.

Yep, another product of my PSA Dagger (West Columbus, SC) experiment that began the first of this year.

My old G19 Gen 2 is back to it's original configuration after the following journey...
  1. The first upgrade was Dagger frame #1 upgrade (ODG) with the G19 Gen 2 upper, which I liked so much...
  2. I got a complete Dagger threaded barrel slide to make a complete Dagger, then...
  3. I had to get this FDE Dagger frame ($99+4473 fee) to put the Gen G19 upper on, then...
  4. I became very interested in the RXM complete slide (Prescott, AZ) but IMO the Magpul frame was so underwhelming I just couldn't go for an complete RXM, then
  5. I discovered a couple companies that buy and part-out RXMs for the FCI and slide assembly for those that go with the new RXM frame aftermarket like Sharps Bros, etc. I was getting interested getting a RXM upper when...
  6. Ruger released the threaded barrel slide assembly recently, and the same companies that part-out RXMs started offering the threaded barrel upper. I order one last week ($295 shipped) & it got here yesterday, and...
  7. the swap out was as easy as taking the G19 Gen 2 slide off, and back on to it's original frame, and a simple slide on with the new RXM upper.
  8. So I have a complete PSA Dagger (threaded barrel) and now this RXM Dagger Hybrid.
  9. Yes, on the Talon grips since I put them on all my polymer frames since they can be a bit slippery especially the Glocks.
  10. I put a Herrington Arms Comp on the full Dagger, but will likely just keep this thread protector on this Hybrid.
BTW- The RXM slide comes with a tritium front sight.
 
Gotta ask, why an RXM slide and no RXM frame? I really like my RXM and it pushes the limits of the Glock platform. With a full sized grip, the RXM is easily my best pistol. I’m thinking of swapping out my 226 with it as a HD pistol.
 
I did a holster fit with my other G19 holsters and apparently the high (suppressor-height) front sight is a slight impediment with fitting a Serpa holster.

It fits snugger in leather holsters.

Will likely get a Dara OWB to take care of that issue & for cross compatibility.

As I mentioned above...IMO the Magpul frame was so underwhelming I just couldn't go for an complete RXM...

When I first checked out the RXM I really liked the "Ruger" RXM slide set-up, but the "Magpul" frame was pretty generic compared to the features that the aftermarket industry G19 Gen3 frame options there were/are.

Since I had already originally upgraded my G19 Gen 2 with the Dagger frame which made a significant improvements over the OEM Glock frame, and the RXM slide assembly I went with the RXM slide upper to go on to the second FDE Dagger frame.

Like I said I really like the RXM upper but the frame wasn't working for me.
