I have the 4.0 comp and I’ll be honest that I really didn’t like the way it shoots. I ended up buying a regular barrel and it ran great. I was thinking about buying a new regular slide but with the Springfield Black Friday sale, I ended up getting the threaded barrel package for a very reasonable price. Now I have every option for the 4.0 that is available. If I want to carry just the regular gun, I can. If I decide I want to run a Suppressor or an external compensator, or just the regular comped version, I can.

It is always a great thing to have options. 😎
 
I have never been a fan of compensated guns aka velocity reducers!!!! But they sure get marketed even being out on 380 handguns for that might rounds recoil.

If you want to save 1/10th on split times knock yourself out. Other factors than that will be a deciding factor if you survive a fight.
