Echelon line of handguns in different calibers

Hi,

The more, the merrier! Let's hope Springfield finds it economically feasible. ;)

And that's my profound glimpse into the obvious for today. :ROFLMAO:

Thank you for your indulgence,

I’d say across the board a 45 would sell….10mm probably not a lot outside the diehard 10mm fans.

For me the best 10mm platform is a steel frame auto like the discontinued S&W 1006.

The other issue with 10mm is other than boutique rounds (stuff like Buffalo bore you usually have to order. If your store is the exception cool but across the country your not walking in with regularity and finding it….and reloaders this isn’t at you reload them to try potential)

The majority of 10mm ammo is lo gated 40 cal ballistics. So as far as marketing not sure if they’d sell enough 10mm versions but good luck if tey want to.

Yeah the 10 is probably too much

10mm and .45acp, I'd buy two Echelons.
All my stores must be "kool" it has been very prevalent for decades in my area.
As a matter of fact during covid the only two types of ammunition on the shelves was either 10mm or .270 rifle ammo. 10mm has been readily available in most stores top to bottom of Illinois for a long long time.

I am of the same opinion Belt. Nothing about it that I like. Guess that is why so many different firearms are made .
I can take it or leave it, I do like the feature of the dot mounting system, the Echelon won’t do anymore then a Sig 320, Glock 17 or 19, S&W M&P’s and such, but I will say I kinda like the FDE compact……🤔🤔 who knows about one of these and my future….😬

Ok, call me a goober, tried the full size Echelon today at my range, didn’t have the compact, well anyway ordered a FDE full size with gear up included……really liked how it felt and shot….got one before any more surprise medical bills bounce in……

I read or watched just about every review I could find on it.
I also talked to the salesman in the Gun department at the PX. He said that the people that purchased one from there told him it’s a Great handgun. No complaints from the customers.
I also handled both sizes there. The full size is the one appealed to me the most. I might get the 4.0C later.
I’ll pick mine up next week but I won’t be able go shooting until the end of April.
