End of a 4 day weekend report

Well since I really have 1 photo to prove I drove 880 miles from north central to southern Alabama (and back). It was considered a collection till the car wash.

It was an interesting trip through Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, than Alabama. I could write all day about the 2-12.5 hour night drives I had to avoid traffic but don’t want to (besides I hated going through St. Louis and Memphis).

I really enjoyed myself shooting steel down near Mobile Alabama. I know it was a short weekend that I needed. Personally I will be changing ranges again towards the end of the year so I can really get into riffle besides just pistol. Now the 4th of July weekend is over and I still have ammo left over (I kinda over bought thinking it be used). I will definitely need to start using it (also left a bunch down south and ordered up some more)

The moral side of this story is. We all need a good road trip from time to time to do something we enjoy. Yes it was 880 miles for me but some of things I saw couldn’t be replicate again (like the trip home in Jackson Mississippi where people tailgated 49 for a few miles to watch fireworks).

try to be sure to hose out the radiator from inside the engine bay.....nothing high pressure, just an ordinary garden hose..those bugs can clog up the cooling fins, and the radiator can develop "hot spots"...

that also helps remove them from the a/c condenser, maybe the transmission and possible power steering coolers as well

just sayin', my years in the garage business, i know what can happen

It did get a bath but ill definitely have to wash a little bit more.
