So, as a child it was a "fort", a "secret hideout" or a "clubhouse". As an adult, it is now a "stealthy shelter" or a "covert camp hideaway".......
 
Mine are generally made for primitive camps, or hunting, it's part of the experience, trying to camp as the longhunters did, hiding from the "locals". But, the skill can serve a very real need if things were to go sideways.
Been there. Didn’t intend to build “camouflaged” esp, just used natural materials which did tend to hide the shelter

mostly out of rattle snake range...well one did fall from the tree once out there
