Execution approved

Not disagreeing but there will be some court obstacles for any public televised event. That said here is what I saw with McViegh.
He was convicted of only 8 murders the 8 Fed LEO’s in the building the rwason mid 90’d the militia and sovereign citizen movements were growing and the Give was looking at a hung jury or acquittal. If they got that with 8 murder counts they had 160 other counts they could file as new charges and it wasn’t double jeopardy. (A couoke states did that in a serial killer so not new new bur probably was the most notable trial)

So when McViegh was nearing his date they had secure uplink for the other 160 victims family to watch in OK City. McViegh and his attorney filed that that shouldn’t be allowed because he wasn’t convicted of those murders. Federal court said to get bent they are watching.

As far as the general public I’m not sure how a court would rule in gaht one these days. Would be an interesting brief for sure!

Of course there would be obstacles to televising the event. One of the biggest excuses we would hear would be about "protecting the dignity" of the convicted person.

We need to worry about his feelings and protect him from stress, unlike how he treated his victims. Right.
