When my parents had an aircraft service in Amarillo they (not them personally) fueled military aircraft. When a c5 was going to be fueled they would get notified. Takes several trucks when loading over 51k gallons of fuel. That's over 300k pounds of fuel.

The original F-14 TF-30 engines caused all sorts of issues/losses.

They put GE F110's in the improved B and D models, & fixed everything plus gave those models alot of extra power.

The F-14 Tomcat's biggest threat was its TF30 engines

When the F-14 Tomcat entered service, it was powered by a pair of troublesome TF30 engines. They were so bad, they cost the Navy 40 jets.

If power is what is wanted, use tomcat engines. Throw those suckers in a f18 and watch it go mach 3 then @Pitdogg2 can really turn ..

I'm not picky I'd be happy soil my britches in either one.
