Father fatally shooting illegal immigrant attempting to carjack family of 8

This would all have to do with what state they are in, here our cars are like our homes, someone invades it and they can be eliminated. now in California they would probably put the victim in jail and resurrect a statue in the main plaza for the perp. but i see he is black so they will do nothing to him so all this bickering is for naught.

If you are familiar with the California courts her attorney won a couple times and the criminal side. The problem they (family) got the civil case reversed after it was dropped on the civil side.

As far as the whole judged by 12 comment. My experience (and I base this as someone that’s been cross examined as well as had fokks that claim) most break down in tears whem they are suddenly investigated as a homicide or attempted homicide suspect to see if they met sun section A, B or C that made it “Justified” and they cry like a little B@&$h

And most folks that claim that have never been involved in a use of force or questioned in court iver say a civil rights charge whem your agency clears you but you get Miranda rights read anyway is always a great time!
Well, I am an attorney. And way, way back in the beginnings of my career, I was involved in an incident where an aggressor unfortunately perished at my hand. I have been cross examined and I have cross examined. I will never cry like a little B@&$h and although I respect you apparent vast expertise and experience, I must point out who the "tough talker" is and it isn't me.

Respectfully to some that are
Tough talkers. I bet the tone changes when the gavel comes down. Ask LAPD Officer Toni McBride she shot a suspect with a knife 6 times. The review bird said she was good with the first four but the last 2 that she was not. This she has been fighting the case off and in since 2020.

It do whatever your career and bank account can handle

True…but the Protective League is fighting it all the way.

I dont disagree.
What I have issue with is the “number of rounds” it takes to drop an assailant. There is no correct answer for this even with the most highly trained persons. Every situation and environment of the shooting is different. Were they in a car?
10 yards away or 10 feet away? Etc. Etc..
It is how the report is written! Don’t be an AH! Tell the officer/deputy what happened. REMEMBER, you shoot to STOP! You do not shoot to kill, disable, or anything else. If he/she continues his actions which threaten him, continue shooting. If not stop.

I would venture to guess that this was the first time the father has ever shot at anyone in his life, and not only in self-defense, but in defense of his entire family. Under that kind of stress and inexperience, I can fully understand why someone would empty their weapon on the perp. BTW, what's this "Tough talkers" BS? I'd protect my family like a bear protects her cub. Kill the predator with extreme prejudice.

I am glad it worked out for the Fad, anytime bad guys get theirs. My point was self defense matters can go south on Bad perceptions or bad camera oltics. Line otherwise justified shootings but the social media stuff comes out.

As far as my criticism of tough talkers I have heard a lot of bold claims iver the years and that “rather be judged by 13” is up there I have also seen those same people that quip that or similar cool they are Bad A•• breakdown crying in an interview room and they haven’t even been in front of a jury.

A great example is Kyle Rittenhouse on his emotion as nobody knew if he was going to prison or not whem the jury was announced the verdict.

Lot is folks beat theor chest in that but until
They are in that hot seat it’s just tough talkers. Like the school loudmouth

Thats shooting insurance and youtube lawyer BS. Dont ever get into THAT nonsense. You can either explain WHY you had to shoot or you cant. Do NOT get into any legal BS about shooting to stop. Thats for later from your attorney if you end up in court BUT if you do youre part that wont happen
