Wow, what a deal! They’re just so dang expensive now! Hoping the CMP would have a good deal on them.I regret not keeping that $30 surplus carbine from the 60's
I'm with ya, 308 is my go-to as needed. This probably been posted before but it's gettin posted again.
For me i gotta go with the 308, i shoot more 5.56, 9mm and others but only cause of cost. so 308
What's yours?
But I have shot a few in guns I wish I hadnt. I love Ruger No1's but 458win is a No1 tropical is spicey. I had an Encore barrel in 500 S&W cut down to 10". One shot was enough! In an Encore rifle or a S&W X Frame it fine....I’ve never shot a caliber I didn’t like!
Hunting can be done with a .22, ya just need a flashlight.308 hunting rifle
.22LR handgun & rifle for having fun
9 mm for carry
Rifles in those calibers are said to kill with one end and cripple with the other! In my part of North America if I can’t kill whatever with a 30.06 or .308 then I’ll have a bigger problem: it ain’t from earth! But I have shot a few in guns I wish I hadnt. No commies in this North. Go Westward to the sea, mate!45acp handgun and pcc for calming your garden variety thug. 7mm magnum deer rifle. 5.56 for stemming the tide of the screaming horde of commies coming down from the North. 45-70 for when I am feeling peevish
