Favorite micro or small frame revolver

Ethan Sackett

Okay, we kicked around carrying 2 guns (and possible 3).
What is your favorite micro carry semi auto and or j frame size revolver?
I have 1 or 2 of each a sig. 938 9mm, a S&W j frame 940 in 9mm with moon clips and Glock 27

SW 432 Ti UC .32 H&R Magnum…I know there are some poor reviews on YouTube, however I’ve had 608 trouble free rounds of various types (SW Long, .32 H&R Magnums, Buffalo Bore wadcutters, etc.). I did clean it before the first time I shot it and I clean it after every range trip.

This is one tiny, light, easy to conceal carry AIWB revolver, and 6 rounds at that!

I also have a Kimber K6s .357 Magnum 2”, but it’s heavier than the 432 and a bit larger.

I only own one revolver, was my father's. I have never fired it, but it is a real beauty.

By far my favorite small revolver is a S&W 642 that S&W gave me as replacement for my Model 38 Bodyguard, which they said they didn't have the requisite parts to repair at that moment. The Model 38 was my backup/ informal off-duty gun for about 24 years and had a great deal of sentimental value. That said, the 642 is superior in that it doesn't gobble up trash through the open hammer slot.

I spent about 8 years keeping the Bodyguard in shape as well as a lady supervisor's who had its twin. Her gun rode in her purse and the first time I had the side-plate off I was appalled at the volume of trash inside it.

My issue gun in OSI in mid 70's was the Model 36 with 3" heavy barrel. Carried it on many protection operations and criminal investigations. We called it the powder puff special but surprisingly accurate for a J frame. Qualifications included a string at 50 yards and it could do it. I liked it so much I had to have this one in my collection.
