yeah, it didn't matter whether i had my 6" barreled revolvers or my Ruger 2.5" revolver, after a few rounds of 357's, i too switch out to the 38's.....

the only revolver i ever regretted buying was a .38 ultra lite, and i forgot the maker...SOB was killing me, shooting 38's..???...like WTF...?????

I have the 3" K6S DASA too. I've never fired .357 out of it though. I've owned a S&W, Ruger, Colt, and Taurus small frame revolvers, and I must say that the fit, finish, and feel of my example of the K6S is superior to the competition. I'm going to try the 3" Diamondback SDR next.

The whole reason I carry my lightweight J-frame is because it is light and small. I pretty much wear shorts and a tee-shirt all year long. I don't do IWB holsters. I have done OWB holsters with a very baggy shirt or light jacket. But not often. If I feel the need for something other than my J-frame, I'll go back to my HK VP9SK in my fanny pack holster. I highly doubt I will become involved in any kind of gunfight situation that won't be finished with more than a couple of rounds. In fact, I envision any kind of trouble I get into will be at very close range, where even trying to get a proper sight picture doesn't even matter. I'm old and disabled. I'm not going out looking for 25-yard shots. It will more than likely be some thug trying to wrestle me or throw me to the ground or accost my wife or myself. My J-frame is perfect for carrying around all day without it dragging my shorts down to the ground, or me even really noticing the weight of it in my pocket. A couple shots from a .357 isn't going to bother me. And when the time comes that it does, I'll switch over to .38 special.
