It certainly brought change, a huge change in Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. Gone were the .38 Special revolvers and in came the semi-automatics in a variety of calibers. Sub Machine guns and M-16's were the new weapons of choice. I had a tiny part in evaluating 9 MM S&W, Ruger, Colt, and Glock semi's for the DOJ. It was fun, I didn't really care if anyone read my report or not.
