I have never and would never store ammo or guns in the garage.

A lot of great information.
Currently everything stored in climate controlled environment.
I do have some magazines in my truck I should probably swap out since it’s been very hot lately and VERY humid.
I do have some ammunition going back about 8 years purchased when I lived in Texas.
I’ve found that occasionally I have a 9mm round (older practice ammo) that won’t fire for some unknown reason but never gave it much thought.
when I do carry my XD Mod2 9mm which is rare these days I have it loaded with newer defensive JHP.

I store ammo in the garage that gets used frequently for rifles, but the rest stays indoors.

Everything stores in the 2 Ammo lockers indoors. They are between the safes.

If I get another dehumidifier, I may turn the (lockable, all-concrete) separate cellar for the front porch into a storage bunker.

I would love to have this kind of spare room for my big toys, especially the rifles. Visiting this kind of room relaxes me, a great time for me to unwind, I would NEVER store my ammo in the warm weather like in the garage. I prefer storing it in my spare room.
