First Impressions of a gun manufacture... just thinking out loud here.

No, no. GLOCK single-handedly revolutionized the gun industry. If it weren't for Glock, we would all be living in the stone-age relying on revolvers. :ROFLMAO:
… ahem .. Thank you Mr Browning

SA is my manufacturer of choice and although I own a couple of Sigs and a couple of S&W’s, when I walk out the door, just like my American Express, I never leave home without my SA.

That said, I am waiting for the HK to hit California and based on my experience at the gun shop the other day, this may become my CCW of choice. That is until I can afford two (2) Stacattos.

First - I like most firearms.

For me - in 2024 - Glock is kind of "meh." Nothing really against it as a brand, but i don't get the extreme love for Glock with all the better(?) options out there - of course it is all personal preference. NOT trying to bash Glock here - if it does it for you, great. I still own a Glock 19 (as I think everyone should). About 7 years ago I was shooting all Glocks and owned several. My thought is - "Why does one have to change out the OEM trigger. sights, etc. to get "Glock Perfection?" (If it were pre-2000??, I would not think this way.)

The introduction of the Sig P365 - made me stop and go "wow." My EDC was a Glock 43 with mag extensions - but being able to go 12+ 1 in the same size did it for me. Carried the P365 and then switched to the P365XL when it was introduced. I own 2. Still love it and nothing has lured me to EDC anything else.

The Sig P320 - I'm kind of "meh" about also. Own 1 (had another, but sold it). Not my go-to striker fired handgun. I like my Walther PDP FS and FN 509 midsize better.......and my FN 510...well that's also a great option if i want to up from 9mm.

Now, my Sig P226 and P229 SAO Legions - OMG! - Those are the sh*t. Love those 2.
(Friend of mine has an Xfive Legion and he feels similarly about his.)
