First Look: SAINT Victor 5.5″ PDW 9mm

The size is exactly what makes the Kuna so good as a vehicle gun. You can actually swing it around in a confined space such as a driver's seat and place accurate shots with a much larger capacity than most standard pistols. Plus firing these weapons in confined spaces is also deafening and concussive, pistols make much more sense in that regard too.

Also I commonly concealed carry my Kuna without the brace attached. It's much easier to do than one would think. You can't do that with the Victor here.

…I really like that the Saint Victor training transfers very well to other AR platform guns though. I could see myself buying an AR-9 for that reason but $1200+ does seem a bit steep to me.
It’s always expensive before you buy it. Once bought, seems we forget about that initial objection. “You only live once.” I’m thoroughly happy with my moderately priced Saint.

I think I'd like the price way better if this were done in 10MM.
If I'm gonna tote a PDW or a PCC, I want the maximum bang
for the buck! Anything less is just a 'toy'.

Why show the extended brace if you're not going to shoot with it in its extended position. Wouldn't it give more support and accuracy to bring it to your shoulder in its extended position?

Keeps them out of trouble with the fed'bois.

I currently have three PDW guns.
They're fun shooting
Been thinking about a PSA Jakl 9mm for my next one

COLT SMG mags are UZI mags with a cut for the AR mag release.
Well.... why would they sell a PDW that takes Colt/Uzi mags when they sell a Hi-Power clone that everyone loves. That also has mag dimensions that are so close that moving/modifying the mag catch would be easy. That already boasts hi-cap mags; I know that some people don't like Pro Mag, but they make 32 round happy sticks and a 50 round drum that is the bee's knees.

I don't understand why SA used a Colt pattern magazine. Why doesn't SA try to standardize their mags where geometry permits? The PDW and pistol caliber carbines would be much more attractive to me if their magazines were interchangeable with a handgun like the Hellcat Pro that I carry.

Probably cause a hellcat pro mag won't hold 30 rounds. i like the Colt SMG mags myself.

That doesn't mean they can't make a higher capacity mag in the same pattern. Glock has done it for years... I'm not knocking the Colt mags; just saying it would be nice if SA's mags were more interchangeable. CMMG offers similar products with different magazine pattern options. I bought my Banshee with a Glock pattern specifically so I would have maximum flexibility. I would have much preferred a SA pattern that matched one of my Hellcats or Mod2 pistols. SA makes some really nice weapons so I'm sure they are capable of standardizing on a few magazine designs without sacrificing innovation. It would save time, money, aggravation, and potentially a life.
