I absolutely love my 5 inch 45ACP Emissary and feel it’s the best looking and shooting gun I own. Even in 45 shooting the gun is effortless and target results show how easy it is produce great groupings.

It’s too bad they cut the slide the way they did, those sharp right angle cuts aren’t needed and look like a hang up point for both ways in and out of a holster.

The smooth sleek lines of a classic 1911 are part of the aesthetic appeal of a timeless design. I own two SA classic 1911’s, both are .45 caliber. Me thinks sales will be less than stellar simply because of the slide.
