Have a couple, I like cheap guns
Best was a S&W 4006, was the issued to a local to me Chief of Police who never shot it, he preferred his snubbie.
Was able to obtain a letter from him stating it had been his issued gun and never was shot. Sold it years later, still unfired for more than I originally paid for it.

Forgot to mention my Colt DS with shroud. Still a .38 but I run +P through it occacionally, although rarely. Plus have a Model 60 and Model 36 purchased later..l

I have a couple of S&W M&P pistols that were LE Trade ins. There was a little bit of holster wear, but aside from that they were like new and shoot flawlessly.

Dang it! He’s letting the cat out of the bag before I capitalize on it.

I’ve been planning to snag a trade-in S&W 64 for a while now.
I am a fan of the 65, the same gun in .357 Mag. A 64 would make a good practice and experimenting gun.

By “experimenting” I mean I want to try a red dot revolver, and this is one of the cheapest ways to get there.

Too much metal. Metal’s hard to work, molded plastic is cheap to form so profits are much higher.
