Hmm. never knew they fielded a plane like that during the War. Always enjoyed the Blue Max movie and see it was based on fact as sometimes a design gets too far. Also proof every part in the chain depends on the previous part. Reminds me of the Comet that was the first jet airliner for the UK, that had a fatal flaw from just the design of the window frames and the pressurizing of the cabin.
