For My Forum Friends - The 2026 Ultimate Carry 1911s: $39,900

Im not in the market but I can tell you I wouldnt buy it if I didnt shoot it and carry it. Otherwise its just a cute piece to sit on the shelf and the wife had enough of those stupid Precious Moment figurines that cost a fortune just to collect dust on a shelf

Agreed. I don’t have safe queens. ATM my most expensive is a 1911 and though it doesn’t get shot as often as, say, my CZ Shadow 2 Carry and others, it does get hauled out every few months for a quick 50.

I did a like for your post above, but couldn’t figure out a way to add an additional 😂 for the Precious Moments comment…

I’ll take a legit full auto for the same money thanks … 😁

I was gonna ask for them in the divorce just to **** her off and use them for target practice because she wanted half the value of my guns; but the attorney urged me to let it go. As you can see its still an issue

I’d love a Damascus 1911, but that pattern is not very nice. And where is the Damascus steel from? A lot of it comes from Pakistan, believe it or not. They just say artisan forged. Those lucite grips are pretty trashy for a $40k gun. At least make them from Baccarat crystal or recycled Louis 13 cognac bottles.

It's pretty but Damascus steel gets boring after a while. Plus it reads "Full Damascus Steel" but the grips look like clear acrylic or something and there are some regular stainless grip screws. The trigger may be steel but it ain't Damascus steel.

How's that for picking nits :p
