Forced Reset Trigger for an AR-15

I got the frt 15 installed a while back, and yeah, it definitely takes some getting used to if you're used to standard triggers. Mine ran fine with quality ammo, but cheap steel case stuff gave me a few hiccups. Make sure your bolt carrier group is full auto rated and everything’s well-lubed—helps a lot with reliability. Also, brace yourself for a bit of a learning curve on the reset timing.

Anyone have any experience with this selector? I haven't installed it yet as supposedly it may require adjusting

I have a few of them, the way to test it is seperate the halves, cock the hammer, put it on frt and with one hand push the hammer all the way down and then with other move the lever back. if there is any drag you will have to file or dremel off a little on the back of the trigger if it drags hard and you don't file it the lever will probably break. There are Videos showin how to do it

I've watched a few, but trying to find 1st hand knowledge on here.
Thanks

On the arc fires you have a proprietary trigger that comes with it. sometimes it don't work. the gunsmith had to drill my gas port out some to make them work. you can't modify the trigger on them.

That's not 100% accurate. You only need the Safety selector portion from the arcfire kit. You can use any trigger you want. It just needs to have the trigger shoe cut for super safety. You can either buy them pre-cut from AS Designs or do it yourself. It takes a few minutes with a dremel. Any milspec trigger will work if you cut it. Depending on lower and hammer/BCG - you may need to modify the lower and/or add a lever blocker.

There's almost no reason why you would have had to drill your gas port, unless that was an issue with the rifle prior.
