Note: While this AV-8B+ wasn't there I visited the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Aurora, CO 3 years ago. Hard to find with all the multi-story developments around it but a worth-while place to check out. A nice selection of aircraft and other aero-space gear.

The last time I got up close to a AV-8B+ was at a Duluth, MN airshow about 15 yrs ago. Not a very big aircraft but one of my favs.

The Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum shows a video of a USMC AV-8B+ Harrier II being demilitarized and moved to its new home.

The advanced Harrier is a heck of a plane. The boy was in 2nd MAW and based for many years at Cherry Point “Home of the Harrier”. They were always flying over the house. Cool birds.

I was at USMCAS Yuma as range officer while the Harrier pilots were still coming on line and being trained by the Brits.
