Front Fiber Optics for Prodigy

Well while testing my pistol at the range after tweaking the leaf spring and installing the Red Dirt Trigger, the stock green fiber optic went MIA.

Sooooo should I replace the front sight entirely since I’m putting an Impact Machine optics plate with a Holosun 507K to ensure I can co-witness though the optic if I choose or just replace the green fiber optic?

1. What diameter do I need and where do I get one.

2. How much of a pain in the *** is it to remove and replace with a night sight if I choose, and what height?

Are you going to be carrying your Prodigy? If so change out the front sight for a tritium sight as the FO will be useless in low light.

Ok so what sight height do I need to go with and how much of a pain is it to do myself as I have a vice and sight pusher? I’m okay with changing from fiber optic to tritium. Also what brand/vendor has a direct replacement

Not a EDC perse to heavy to appendix carry. I can because I’m 6’5” and 255 but I like smaller and lighter options for that.

I believe they’re .040 fibers, not .060. I grab them from Dawson or Amazon.

Thanks all, until I figure out a front sight replacement I ordered a set of green .060 diameter from Amazon. I don’t want to wait for the free replacements from SA.

I researched Dawson, YouTube and other forums to come up with .60 if I’m wrong it’s only 6 bucks and I’m gonna update this post for others researching when theirs come out.
