Springfield’s included optics track record is…not so good (cough…Hex is a POS…cough). You’re much better off getting something that actually fits your needs/wants.

Always found better to buy the base gun you want,then add a red dot and light that you are happy with and works for you,if you buy a package you might find later on,maybe the light or dot isn't quite what you want just for the sake of convenience, it will take longer to buy everything separately and maybe cost a bit more but you will have a gun you are happy with completely.

Package deals are all about cost, at best they will "adequate", at the worst you'll spend more than if you would have just bought separately.
