Getting the Echelon ready for Steel Challenge tomorrow

The Echelon was the first gun I made B class with in Steel Challenge. Time to bring it back out and bump up to A class in Carry Optics. 37.85 ounces with the grip, tungsten guide rod, optic and light. The built in thumb rest on the Icarus grip is fantastic.

Took her to the range tonight to update the zero for the Atlanta Arms 110gr ammo I'm using for the season. Haven't chrono'ed it yet, but I expect it's right around 1000 fps based on recoil impulse. Maybe 950.

Awesome and good luck. Keep us informed.

I just started Steel Plate Challenge this year, been to 3 meets going to my next one the 17th.

I too choice the Echelon and love it. I bought it for this purpose but then bought the Shadow 2. And after some back and forth testing both shot great but I was still more comfortable with the Echelon, so that is my gun of choice for SPC.

I'm still new and haven't shot enough to be rated but I'm sure it's near the bottom. My issue isn't shooting it's using a green dot for me. I'm old school iron sights but getting better finding that sight picture each time.
