Girsan M14 T

We had one for a while, bought for the wife who has a hard time racking anything but an EZ Shield. It was a .380. It shot okay and was certainly easy to get into firing mode, but man was cleaning a giant PITA! Only fired 50 rounds through it from February 2024 to September 2025 and managed to get it semi-clean and it sat in the safe, where it sat until it got traded. She much prefers the ease of a J-Frame revolver and I much preferred to never clean an M-14T again!

We had this model…almost forgot - it was pretty heavy too, for a .380.

I could see that I handled one yesterday at the LGs felt really good in my hands . I wish it didn’t have the top up barrel then the slide would come off but they don’t make one for Cali . I decided soon i really like the feel and weight . It looks like it made pretty well

Definitely a solid gun, just didn’t work for my wife’s and my preferences. I know people make fun of the brand, but it was just as solid as any mass production gun I currently own. If you can deal with extra time cleaning and figuring out how to clean the tight spaces thoroughly, it’s certainly something to consider.
