GIrsan MC P35. Who else has one of these Hi-Power Mark III clones?

I own one and like it quite a bit. It is a "carbon copy" of the Browning Hi-Power Mark III. I am considering having the Magazine safety removed. (This should improve the trigger.)

That is a nice looking gun. Have you had any problems with it?
When SA came out with the 4.25” barrel version that piqued my curiosity. But not enough to jump in head first.
The magazine disconnect wouldn’t bother me much. I realize that even with the best trigger in the world i’d still be an average shooter. 🤣

I bought the one with G10 grips from Palmetto State Armory last year on a super sale for $400. Figured for that price if it had issues as a Turkish gun I wouldnt be to upset. Runs fine. No issues, but its my 9mm brush gun for the lease so if it gets banged up or muddy, well it was $400.
My SA 35 got sold . Went back to SA for original teething problems and still had issues. Away it went .
Dont have photo of mine, but here is psa photo of it

i'm taken aback.....i'm aghast.....i'm beside myself.....i'm flabbergasted......i'm in a state of disbelief........

YOU BOUGHT A TURKISH GUN....???!!!!?????.....!!!!....??????

pack up your sheet everyone...the end of the world has come............a year late god dammit...but it is here...........we are all doomed, the great @KillerFord1977 ....bought a Turkish gun..............

it's not a miracle......its....its.......dammit......i don't know what this is......

i gotta take a nap and regroup now.............

I'm a big fan of the Hi-Power and its clones. I have several of them including two of the Girsans.
I have one full size OPS model and one LW PI model.
Good guns, shoot well. The trigger isn't that good, but you can get used to it.
The OPS model has all the bells and whistles and shoots great.
The LW PI is a great carry gun. However, its cut for optics and the rear sight on the cover plate is not adjustable. For me this gun shoots slightly left and I can't correct it.
I'm hoping that Springfield will make a lightweight version of the new 4" SA-35. If they do, I'll buy one of those and sell the Girsan.

You’ve been napping far too long.
I bought this last year and posted such.
You need to take a another med😉😁🤠😏

I have one, also. I removed the magazine - disconnect - safety? - device thing. I do like it a lot, too.
I replaced the front sight with a Dawson Fiber Optic part. I measured the stock sight and bought
one the same height.

OK, now to brag a little: Girsan, Springfield, Inglis L9 A1, and an original Browning from 1970
and lastly a New FN High Power. The Inglis has the best clone trigger, but
the Browning and FN have the best triggers of all of them.

i dunno how i missed that fact, you giving in, and finally buying a Turkish gun.........the skies must have opened up that day and "you saw the light" of a good quality product, after all the times you were in denial.
Maybe @Old_Me isn’t napping enough.
not to worry..if i miss a nap..it'll be a cold, dark, dank day...........and frankly, as far as i know, we have had many of those up here, and i ain't missed ah one nap.
If he naps anymore it'll be a dirt nap

THEN YOU GET TO BE ..........THE OLD MAN...........!!!!!!!!!

Didnt say it was good quality.
Just said I tried it.
Its quality is a B rating.
Its a test gun for $400…
It gives about as much satisfaction out of it as well.. a B meh rating

I almost hate to say it but: the Inglis is better than my Girsan. The finish is CeraCoat not blued, but it's
excellent, and looks like the coating Browning used years ago. The trigger resets with a tactile click.
I don't know how they did that, but I like it.

This is only two guns - My Girsan and My L9 A1...
