I’m telling you what everyone else tried telling me. My thing is that we all have to live on this planet together. We are on here for a reason and that’s to exchange ideas. If I had a dollar every time someone tells me to move, I wouldn’t have a job. I’ve been outside of Illinois (and it’s bad policy decisions) and realized that there are good and bad parts of every state. Yes I have a good network of friends and places to go to shoot.

In an attempt to get this thread back on track...

Patiently waiting for Glock to change the strippling pattern on the grip and put a different AR stock on it, and then call it a Gen 2.

I think Glock has come to the realization that hand guns and horse “love juice” don’t always cut it.

Oh Lordy, just what the world needs, one more knockoff AR clone. I mean, there’s only what, 100 companies already making them? Local LGS has basically quit handling them. Last week there was a whopping total of 2 there as opposed to better than a dozen lever guns ranging fron .357 to 45/70, a couple Brownings and one Benelli auto and of course a BUNCH of assorted bolt guns. Owner “can’t move AR’s-everybody that wants one HAS one (or two or three)”. Did see a nice Henry Long Ranger…

While it IS true that there are way too many clones out and a lot of companies competing for the crowded field, Glock has landed a LEO contract. It is how they got started. Sig and many others have or are selling to LEO and military. I therefore expect Glock to land more contracts not necessarily with this model/cartridge loading.
