Good deeds or just a capitalist

When it comes to reloading components or just opening a door for a woman, what kind of person are you! I know the 1st sentence probably should've ended with a question mark? No! While trying to resend hazmat items thru ups/fedex it's a no go or maybe I don't know how to do it? Either way other people that have product will not ship hazmat items (non reloading places) to me or other forum members. I have shipped brass, bullets and other reloading components that are non-hazmat items to other members on other forums. I've met up with a few at other cities close to where they live and have done trades/purchases on hazmat items. As far as bullets, brass and other reloading items I've just sent it to them at no cost. Most ask if I have paypal or some other type of way to receive prepayment. Although I tell them don't worry about reimbursement, some still send me money. there's 1 person on here I haven't sent items I said I would yet. I haven't forgot and will send it to you. Do you pay it forward or be a scrooge (not technically)?

Anything I pass on to someone wasn't given to me. If it was a gift that served someone else better than I, then it was a good deed or just being a good person. It could've been replaced or updated for another to have good use from.

The term…..
“What you do comes back to you”
Covers both the good and bad.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have extra things that I don’t need and offer to others. For myself it’s not about hoping to get back stuff from others but more about how giving is heartwarming and most times contagious.

I think your implication that capitalists do not do good deeds reveals the depths of penetration our media and education system has achieved trying to dismantle our current economic model ;)

Exactly . . . "capitalism bad, socialism good" seems to be the chant oft repeated in media and taught to the past two generations of young people.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, they also like to confuse people by making the claim that the oligarchy led corporatism is capitalism which it is not. It's actually much closer to fascism/communism where the state controls the corporate power making them one entity. Like them, ours has the corporations owning and operating the state, which is one entity. And now it's gone global and the propaganda has become a blanket censorship campaign where they own the media and control the public discourse everywhere they can online all to support a single globalist narrative.
...in case nobody noticed. :p

On giving, I help folks when I can(usually technical help) but even that got to be debilitating and I felt a bit used so I stopped doing it so much. I suddenly found I had far fewer "friends".
I also stopped trying to pretend to know what people want for the xmas consumer rush. Call me a scrooge as I actually have trouble pretending they had a clue when they insist on getting me things. My mom in her late 70's still insists of course, but makes me do the shopping. I keep an open amazon list just for that. :D

i open doors or hold doors open for anyone.

i buy all that i can get, if there is no limit per customer.

as for the insipid hazmat fee's, i really do not want to spend as much on that, then 1 of the product, so to "bulk up" is what i do, when i can afford to do so.

i "give" of my time, and often pay for a visitor at the club, for them to shoot. i cannot ask someone i invite to pay. at the range, i have a "free" guest card, with my membership, so that costs me nothing extra.

i have "given" some items like cleaning kits from my supplies, and a box of new ammo from time to time.

if i am "giving", i too accept no money, that's why i was "giving", otherwise, i would say..."for $xxxx, i can sell you this"

and "technically I AM A SCROOGE", my wife says so every year at this time......

i hate putting up the lights, i hate getting xmas cards, i hate thicky pudding, and i hate all those Hallmark Christmas movies.....

but I LOVE tearing down all the xmas decorations, the day after New Years......!!!!!!

so i look forward to that...~!!!!!!!!~
