I've always wanted a PDW just for the hell of it, not that it's a requirement to have one in your collection, but still always wanted one.
I was going to get the one Springfield made but before I could pull the trigger, pun intended, they took it off the market and never said why. So eventually I got around to buying a Daniel Defense M4 PDW. And though I put some rounds through it when I first got it, finally got a nice Holosun 510c green dot for it. And kudo's to Holosun. I put that baby on, first plan was to zero it and didn't have to every single shot from the first pull hit center mass. NICE.
So, I took it to the range, and it was so smooth, fast, and steady. After 2 mags of center mass shots at 15 yrds. (I figured that would be a good distance if I ever had to use it for protection. I have it in my bedroom for that purpose but also have my Springfield XDm Elite in the nightstand, so who knows.
Any who fired that last mag in rapid fire and still 18 of 20 hit center mass, I raised up on 2... I'm impressed. Impressed with the gun, the sight and too be honest my shooting skills. I've been slipping lately as I get order, harder to see and focus on sights especially front iron sights on my pistols. Has me a little worried. I'm still good. Was a sniper in the Army, (not a Army sniper, but the Military Police SWAT team, and a sniper in civilian law enforcement. So, I can still hit targets well but have noticed a decline since retirement.)
Thanks for letting me share.
