Graham Greene died

at least he was a REAL Native American.

many of you recall F-Troop..??

Frank De Kova, a born Italian/American in NYC, played a Native American......many actors played Indians in many westerns.....including Victor Mature, Burt Lancaster to name a couple.

then there is Wes Studi, another fine, but hardly heard of Native American actor.

not too many around, and not as often recognized for thier works.

although i cannot swear to it right now, i do believe Wes Studi also did "some" * stunt work, such as horse riding in many movies.

another old timer, (but AMerican born) did stunt work as well, then later got to actually act in movies....long gone now...Richard Farnsworth

  • Although he has a background as a professional horse trainer, Wes Studi has not been officially credited as a stunt performer on film and has relied on stunt coordinators for complex action sequences. He did, however, find an outlet for his adrenaline-seeking nature through acting, particularly in physically demanding roles.
Highlights related to Studi's stunt work:
    • Professional horse trainer: Studi has a history as a professional horse trainer, which likely aided in his riding scenes for many Westerns. This expertise has been separate from any official stunt work.
    • A "different kind" of stunt work in Avatar: While filming Avatar, Studi's character Eytucan was created entirely with CGI. In an interview, he described how he performed in a motion-capture suit in an empty room, a type of performance that involved no traditional stunts.
    • Work with a stunt coordinator on Street Fighter: For the 1994 film Street Fighter, Studi and his co-stars worked with veteran stuntman and kickboxer Benny "The Jet" Urquidez to choreograph fight scenes.
