I'm honestly not making fun of you, but the texture on a polymer gun was too aggressive for you? Generally, shooting it more will fix that.

My guess is you've never carried a Shield 2.0 IWB.

Can you imagine how long it would take to wear down the texture on one of those by handling it ?

I meant to say I buy the painful-to-look-at in sheets and cut it into strips. You can buy sheets of the various compounds.

What's BS? That after shooting some number less than 1000 rounds, the grips won't be as "sharp" as they are out of the factory box?

Given the friction, sweat, etc. that entails, enlighten us on why the plastic grips on a plastic frame won't soften and dull their edges in the slightest during the action and use required to put 1000 rounds down range.
