OK the short (very short) version is that there was tension brewing between the Templar Knights and the Catholic Church. It had to do with the Templars convincing the church that they had the Cup of Christ (Holy Grail), and refused to give it to the Church, resulting in the Church and King Phillip of France conspiring to place KILL order on the Templars on October 13 (Friday) 1307....and now you know next to nothing about the real history of Friday the 13th
