I've never liked the term "gun lobby" as that has been put in use against 2A for decades. Arms or self defense lobby is what it should be referred to if they need a moniker. Many of the forefathers carried swords, daggers etc. and had other implements of self defense, like bows, clubs etc. These other non firearm weapons were part of the fight against britain in the war and today should also be just as accessible and available to all under the 2A. Many states regulate such things now and some jurisdictions severely constrain or forbid their carry, use or even ownership. All that being said, this legislation looks promising.

You are correct. She has always been a RINO. Grassley is right. These proposed laws are vague and will always be interpreted leaning to the firearms restriction crowd. Who is going to adjudge someone as dangerous? The same mental health professionals who love to push anti-gun views in the first place? Bunch of buttinskys.
