Good read on the S&W 610 10mm revolver, this I can vouch for since I have the 6.5” version and it’s a blast, plus it shoots the .40S&W good.

Unfortunately, mine is the second release of the 610, so it has the lock…..

My vote is for the S&W 1006, but I do understand that they are not cheap and are somewhat hard to find.
