I had this .22 rifle handed down to me early in my life from my mother's uncle. He bought it as young lad to run his trap line with. https://bid.kraftauctions.com/aucti...cle-works-model-x-22-s-l-lr-bolt-action-rifle

I also had my dad's Remington 12 GA model 31 pump shotgun and my mom's .410 bolt action .

Unfortunately , I lost those and other firearms due to a break in and arson one night. The guns taken were the ones that meant the most to me which were the three I mention . I still have some hard feelings about that night way back in 2004.

20ish years ago, a dear friend of mine moved to Oklahoma so his wife could pass in her birth town. I think he's 92 now and still kicking. We talk every few days. When he moved, he gave me a Marlin 989 M2-CAL. It is a .22 rifle. He bought it from Sears and Roebuck in 1966. I have the box, manual, the hand written receipt, and a pristine rifle. It came with a Sears installed Weaver scope. I don't think he ever fired it.
