Went to the range today. Packed more than usual with kids there with their fathers. It was nice to see. Dads shot for free today.
My old man could be a mean SOB at times. But he showed me how to be a man, be accountable, treat women with the respect they deserve and impressed upon me the importance of honesty. I never go to pass along what he taught me to kids of my own but i am grateful for what he taught me. I’d like to think he’d be proud of the man i became. I miss him.
