Has anyone ever had a random package show up?

We just had a random package show up from “GOFU” @ 1080 se 5th street suite 300 hialeah fl 33010.
The delivery service ( that I have never seen before , no I did not see the vehicle) arrived at 9:15 pm the young lady quickly ran up to our door placed package on ground then took a picture and left quickly.
I had to do a search and it looks like
It’s possibly some type of scam. Have any of you folks had this happen?

I read about this on the internet. The package is empty and they want you to use your phone and somehow scam you. Sorry I can’t remember any more details.

Many times, but usually delivered at the wrong address od someone i know. On occasion it has been someone I didn't know or from some place I never heard of. Why the pink safety vest as that is weird. I've had deliveries as late as midnight. They take pics now dor delivery conformation fall parties.

If there's a qr code I wouldn't scam it, but would check address and/or place if origin and tracking number only if it's ups, FedEx as usps doesn't work that late

Maybe but doubtful. It was addressed to my wife with our correct home address. She did not order and was not expecting anything to be delivered.
This is a new person; we know our UPS , Fed Ex, USPS and Amazon drivers on a first name basis, and pretty much know about what time of day each of them come through.
I’m putting it in backyard for tonight and I’ll deal with it in the morning.

Theres a lot of third party delivery services now that arent hhe most professional and they even drive personal cars. Probably the wrong address. Its happened to me a couple of times.

I've had three deliveries last week from unknown delivery services, two was speedx and one was a crazy name. they delivered it after 9 that night. they were legit deliveries but i was expecting them too.

I wouldnt be afraid to have you open it. Seriously since its addressed to you, unless its heavy and greasy, open it it might be that bowel movement someone sent you OR maybe something not as nice; but I wouldnt be afraid to open it
