Has anyone ever had a random package show up?

the scam is a package addressed normally etc and its empty , but has a qr code inside or on the package
the theory is you got a package, not sure from who and the ODDS are everyone gets at least one a week from normal sources so you dont think any thing of it...but being the concerned person, you scan the code and poof your info on the phone is now theirs, and MOST folks have credit card and password stuff on the phone
you should report it to the post office and or police
the delivery person is most likely not involved, just doing a job

Just be careful accepting items you’re unsure of and scanning any codes.

One came for my wife from Amazon. Clothing, shirt and trousers that didn’t fit either one of us. Dropped it off to a charity.
