HB 2763 and How Public Shooting Ranges Quietly Disappear

Interesting article on public gun ranges…..could this be the path of the left…..🤔

My range has had to make many changes over the years due to development. I live in a Red State and am fairly confident the subdivisions would lean Red. Issue 1 Developers are buying the available land. Issue 2 The subdivisions will contribute far more money to the City, County, State than the Range. Solution is Gun Club you will need to redirect your shooting ranges as to not pose a threat to the new development going in on your SE corner and no shooting after 8 pm.

I don’t care what color your state is, when subdivisions get built everything becomes a Not in My Backyard free for all because most people are so myopic.

It happened here. We used to go to a gravel pit to shoot. It was used for over 40 years and was on BLM land. A person purchased a lot of land next to BLM land. He built a house and complained 3 years several times a day to sheriff and after those years they just closed the gravel pit down by placing rocks the size of trucks to block access. No warning just blocked. The worst part of this was he was a retired cop from Wisconsin.
