Okay, so I am really not a drama queen, but the blood pressure did spike a bit when I drove into Fargo today. In the last 24 hours the price of gas has jumped 50 cents per gallon. I noticed in my little MN town that it has climbed 20 cents a gallon, which caused a cocked eyebrow. When I got into Fargo...well let's just say I am thankful I topped off my tank yesterday. I paid 3.59 on Friday and it's 4.09 at the same station today.

I imagine some of you guys may be paying more where you live...and it's not like me to complain. I commute 60 miles a day, so it is what it is, but geez...I am feeling a bit violated. :(

I actually filled up today, $3.25 a gallon here where I live in Ohio, what has us in an uproar is the price of groceries now, it’s just me and my wife, we used to spend around $100.00 a week, now it’s up and over $150.00 a week, and Bidennomics is working……..yea right….😵‍💫

On the rise here in NJ too. Just another one of the many successes of Bidenomics!
We used to have the cheapest gas in the nation about 10 years ago. Christie changed that for us by adding a sliding gas tax that goes up or down depending on gas sales. It has only gone up each year. Go figure… a tax that only goes up.

We are financially stable but our buying power is diminished. The price of food is crazy. Diesel is way up, which affects everything else because food production and transportation runs on diesel. It is harvest time here in the country and many thousands of gallons of diesel are burning every day bringing in the crops. My daughter is in process of building a house and thank goodness she got an interest rate locked in before rates started to climb. The cost of ammo has come down a bit but I think that is due to people not buying as much. We went from the best economy in my lifetime 3 years ago to this. I feel bad for young families trying to navigate this mess.

I will chime in on the grocery issue. I've been a meat cutter over 39 years now and have NEVER seen prices like this. Each week when the trucks deliver.... the cost to the store has went up again. We are selling meat at prices I would have never thought of and actually making LESS profit because the store owner is hesitant to increase the details at the same rate as the costs of goods. Ppl gotta eat and little widow Jones is on a fixed income. Geez......you Dumassocrats are really screwing this country. They don't have to stand there and talk to these ppl and hear their sad stories about being near broke and trying to plan a freaking meal. My rant

My dad was a union meat cutter his whole life, from 18 years old until he retired. Local 88.

Like many of you, I feel sorry for the young folks (like some of you are!). We are retired, so if gas goes up we can simply drive less. Working people need to get to work, though.

Sometimes I think the powers that be (and this is not our current figurehead President) are working hard to “fundamentally change” our country. After all, they told us that was what they were going to do. I liked it better when we had more respect for our LEO’s, had more pride in our country, and appreciated what had been passed down to us. The most important thing we can do as citizens is stay informed and vote. Hopefully we can still make things better for the generations following us.
