I have a discounted xdm tactical 45 & want to buy an optic red dot but from the looks of it I’m not able to place a plate on my slider.. can someone help me out with that please.

Maybe you will have to have the slide milled

Recently SA came out slide kits for XDM 9’s, hopefully they’ll come out for the older XD45’s.

Going to have to have the slide milled or but one of the adapter plates that takes over the dovetail your rear sight sits in. Ive heard mixed reviews depending on which type of dovetail adapter so tread carefully if you go that way.

Not correct. The OSP slides are for the XD models not the XDM.

I got an email last week or so, an article had info for an aftermarket XD-XDM OSP slide replacement, don’t recall who had them. I guess I was been thinking about those SA XD9 slides that came out last summer.

The SA website shows XD OSP Slides only.
